In organizational communication
the belief is theory guides behavior; and in this paper the
Motivational-Hygiene theory will be applied to my life and work
experiences. To begin, the motivational-hygiene
theory is commonly referred to as the “two-factor theory” because the theory
regards both job satisfaction and dissatisfaction. Shockley-Zalabak said the Motivation-Hygiene
Theory emphasizes the influence of both internal and external factors in
explaining human behavior.
